Samsung Expands ‘Level’ Series of Wireless Smart Audio Products

Samsung Electronics South Africa, announced two new additions to its Level series of smart Bluetooth audio products: Samsung Level On Wireless and Samsung Level Link. Designed for music lovers seeking to pair excellent audio quality with sleek design, Samsung Level On Wireless headphones incorporate the latest technology to offer top quality sound in an impeccable package. On the other hand, the Samsung Level Link seamlessly transforms traditional audio products into wireless solutions, using Bluetooth technology. These new devices will be available in South Africa at the end of May 2015 and offer easy access through a customisable mobile application.

“With the Samsung Level series, we have combined our industry-leading technology and design expertise to offer users the best possible audio experience,” said Craige Fleischer, Director of Integrated Mobility at Samsung Electronics South Africa. “The Samsung Level On Wireless and Level Link is built on Samsung’s longstanding heritage of innovation and a dedication to expand our range of audio accessories that deliver organic sound quality, superior comfort, portability and style.”

Level On Wireless
Samsung Level On Wireless headphones feature circular ear pads producing a sleek, sophisticated look and feel. Equipped with six built-in microphones, the headphones feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to accurately map surrounding sounds for a clearer and uninterrupted audio experience. A dual-layered diaphragm system helps to suppress excessive vibration, reducing noise and enabling the headphones to reproduce rich, balanced sound across a wide range of frequencies.

Level On Wireless supports an easy-to-use touch pad that allows users to activate and adjust a variety of features such as S Voice, volume, as well as play, pause or skip tracks – all without touching the controls of the paired device. The headphones are also equipped with a unique Sound Sharing function, so users can seamlessly share their favorite tunes with other Level On Wireless users.

Level Link
Samsung Level Link uses Bluetooth connectivity to render a range of traditional audio devices completely wireless. Users simply connect Level Link to earphones, headphones, a TV, a set of speakers or hi-fi system with aux-in cable and then pair it to a Bluetooth-enabled device to enjoy the same high-quality sound they get from traditional audio devices. Level Link provides wireless connectivity in both Send and Receive modes with a simple switch button. Users can also stream audio to two Bluetooth-enabled devices at once, making it possible to instantly share tunes with friends. The Level Link’s aptX Low Latency codec provides fast audio conversion, enabling users to watch videos without encountering sound lags.

The Samsung Level On Wireless and Level Link are available through Samsung Experience stores, leading retailers and local operators. Full details and product images are available at www.samsungmobilepress.com

Samsung Offers Premium Service with Warranty Solutions

Samsung Electronics South Africa has further strengthened the service it provides to its South African consumers by presenting warranty and service offerings across its entire product range.

Samsung’s warranties run for a 24-month period across all products and deliver a number of resolutions to meet customers’ demanding lifestyles. These include a Quick Repair Service (QRS), which allows Samsung clients to book their mobile devices in for repairs while they shop, and an online booking repair service, called Cyber Service Centre.

“As long as the device or appliance is not disfunctional due to negligence or physical damage, then it is fully covered by our warranty,” says Richard Chetty, Service Director at Samsung Electronics South Africa. “In addition, Samsung also offers an in-home repair service for all white goods and TVs over 42 inches. With this service, Samsung will dispatch highly-skilled technicians to visit the customer’s house to assess the fault and aim to repair it on-site. Samsung clients receive this service without paying a call-out fee during the two year warranty period” concludes Chetty.

We urge consumers to check their warranty conditions before purchasing a product to avoid disappointment. Samsung offers a two year warranty on its products because we want to ensure that the consumer has protection of their investment, and not all manufacturers offer the same level of support. Samsung has a significantly more favorable offering with regards to warranty for accessories in comparison to competitors in the consumer electronics space. In addition, Samsung’s ADH repair is a premium offering which gives consumers more benefits on selected Samsung Galaxy Smartphone devices, such as a screen replacement within 12 months on the latest available handsets.

Samsung’s warranties are offered to ensure that customers have complete protection against operational failure and peace of mind. The customer service division is fully dedicated to support customer service related enquiries and provides support through a range of technical call centres, remote management initiatives for digital appliances and service support via Brand Stores.

A Samsung Brand Store is a premium experiential outlet that showcases the full range of Samsung products, services, visual display, digital imaging, digital appliances and mobile communications. Based on the warranty status of a product, a consumer can have their device repaired at a Brand Store, as well as receive expert advice and technical support.

Samsung Launches New Quick Repair Service for Mobile Devices

Samsung customers can do their shopping while their mobile devices are being repaired

Samsung Electronics South Africa is proud to announce the launch of the Samsung Quick Repair Service (QRS). Customers can now have their mobile devices repaired in real time. The service, which will deliver speedy resolutions to minor technical problems, will be available at selected Samsung Brand Stores and selected partners nationwide.

“We recognise that our customers already have demanding schedules and cannot afford to wait in queues getting their devices fixed or software upgraded,” says Richard Chetty, Service Director at Samsung Electronics SA.

The Samsung QRS includes the maintenance of cellular devices and tablets, and the repair of screens, motherboards and cameras. The expert teams can also assist with simple email set up, software updates and the transfer of data from one Samsung device to another.

The turnaround time of the service is designed to be as swift as possible, but will be impacted by the availability of parts in the store. “Ninety Percent of repairs can be done within the hour but some of the more complex issues may need a longer waiting period in order to ensure that the job gets done correctly and the mobile device returns to the consumer in a fully functional state,” concludes Chetty.
